Day of Giving

Fall has always felt like a time to be thankful and to give to others. Here in Pittsburgh, the organization, Pittsburgh Gives, is having their annual 'Day of Giving' on Wednesday, October 3, 2012.
This is a great event for those of you who are or were considering giving to a non-profit or foundation this holiday season!
During the Day of Giving, all donations received online will be matched though a pro-rated portion of the match pool.  (As an example, if the match pool is $500,000 and the total amount raised that day is $2,000,000, then the match may be .25 cents on the dollar.)
What a great way to make your gift become so much more!  Below are instructions on how to give or our organization, Family Services of Western PA or any one of your choice.

Thanks for giving!

1. Go to http://www.pittsburghgives.org
2. Click on Day of Giving.
3. Click on Donate Now. 
4. Enter your name, email and phone number in appropriate boxes.
5. From the drop down box select Family Services of Western Pennsylvania. Or begin typing our name in the box. (You can begin typing any part of Family Services of Western Pennsylvania and the drop down box will limit to appropriate results.)
6. Enter your donation amount. Minimum donation is $25.00.
7. Enter your MasterCard or Visa credit card information on the secure server and click "submit". You will receive confirmation that your donation has been received via email for tax purposes.
